Referral requests through the UnitedHealthcare Hearing Provider Portal are now automated

We're making improvements to get your referrals faster when registering patients and requesting a referral through the UnitedHealthcare Hearing Provider Portal.

You can submit a referral request through the provider portal rather than having to call to register the patient to request a referral opportunity.

Submitting a referral request through the portal is quick and easy and you can now receive your referral in as little as 5 minutes dependent upon the patients insurance plan. Complete the following steps:

• Complete the Referral Request details form with all required information and click next to continue

A message will then display the patient’s information that has been submitted. The referral will be generated after all information has been validated.

Our team will review and respond as quickly as possible if the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or cannot be validated automatically.
