Wisconsin Medicaid: Important EVV updates from DHS

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is preparing its plan for electronic visit verification (EVV) for certain home health care services, including the following codes: 

As the plan is finalized and implemented, DHS will email the latest EVV requirements and other important information. Please complete the 2 actions below so you don’t miss essential messages about EVV. 

1. Update your contact information

Make sure your most current contact information is listed in the ForwardHealth Portal. Visit the portal and log in to your secure ForwardHealth Portal account. From there, follow these steps to update your information: 

• Select Providers tab at the top of the page
• Find Home Page to the right
• Select Demographic Maintenance
• Select Mailing Address
• Update your email address/contact name

2. Subscribe to emails

Encourage your provider administrators and interested staff members to sign up to receive emails from DHS about EVV as they become available.
