Q4 2023 MA-PCPi program enhancements
To help support the essential work you do to care for UnitedHealthcare® Medicare Advantage members, we’ve made 2 enhancements to the 2023 Medicare Advantage Primary Care Physician Incentive (MA-PCPi) program. Effective Oct. 1, 2023, the changes apply to quarter 4 of this year only. We hope these enhancements help you finish the year strong.
Increased ACV bonus rate
The bonus for High Priority Annual Care Visits (ACV) increased from $100 to $150 for every ACV that participating providers complete for High Priority MA-PCPi Customers between Oct. 1–Dec. 31. The 2023 bonus rates are as follows:

New High Priority MA-PCPi Customer definition
We’ve also expanded the scope of customers who meet the definition of High Priority MA-PCPi Customer. They are now defined more broadly to include members who haven’t historically engaged with a primary care physician.
