Coverage changes for OneTouch meters and test strips

Starting in 2025 and with additional implementation dates in 2026, UnitedHealthcare plans will no longer cover OneTouch® Verio and OneTouch Ultra glucose monitors and test strips. Please refer to the following table for plan-specific coverage change dates.

Preferred covered alternatives

To help ensure continued access to diabetic testing supplies, listed below are preferred alternatives that are covered for UnitedHealthcare members. Please consider switching products for your patients prior to the effective dates to minimize any possible disruption.
