The state published the updated NC Medicaid Direct fee schedules on Jan. 5, 2026, to align with the Medicaid reimbursement rates on Sept. 30, 2025. Health plans have 45 days to implement the updated fee schedules into their systems, then an additional 30 days to reprocess impacted claims.
